Project Day 'Trick Film'
Stop-Motion Animation
Filming with clay or other figures: In this four-hour project day, students learn how to create an animation film using stop-motion technique with simple means. Whether working with toy figures, clay, or painted figures depends on the students’ ideas.
In small groups, students develop a story, sketch it, and then turn it into a film. The individual images are recorded with smartphones and tablets from Young Arts and edited in a simple app. Sound design is also possible and welcome! Current topics from lessons can also be incorporated.
