Project Day 'Plaster in the Studio'
Impossible? Gypsum possible!
Gypsum not just in the doctor’s office, but also in the studio. In this project, students learn about the material gypsum. Artworks are created from plaster bandages or modeling plaster. Students first create a draft sketch and then begin with a wire skeleton. Gradually, the gypsum artwork emerges.
This project is aimed at school classes in grades 1-6 and is offered free of charge as a program of the Jugendkunstschule Neukölln.
