Clay Sculptures for Everyone
A sloth-hedgehog, a deer-hare, or perhaps a butterfly-monkey – imagination knows no bounds. In this project, students get to know the material clay by modeling hybrid animals. They first sketch their hybrid animals and then face the challenge of translating this into a clay sculpture. How do you work with clay, how are stable connections created, what tricks are there to model eyes, for example, etc.? Students learn all these skills – and quite effortlessly.
This project is aimed at school classes in grades 1-6 and is offered free of charge by the Youth Art School Neukölln.
Bookable for entire classes! Upon individual arrangement, also possible on two Thursdays.
